Why Us?

Because we read the Holy Bible in our sermon

King James Bible, James 1:17

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

Frequently asked questions

Which Bible do you read ?

We read the King James Holy Bible as an essential  part of our weekly sermon.

What else comprises the Sunday Sermon ?

We read the Sunday sermon from the Holy Bible and from Science and Health
with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. Our one hour service also
includes music and hymns.

Is Christian Science "Christian"?

Christian Science is based on Christ.  Mary Baker Eddy wrote:  “We solemnly promise to watch and pray for that Mind to be in us which was also in Christ Jesus; to do unto others as we would have them do unto us; and to be merciful, just, and pure.”  We practice Christian ideals in following the teachings of
Christ Jesus.

How does Sunday School work?

A one hour class for children ages 3 to 20 is conducted by knowledgeable teachers at the same time as our church service (10:00 AM to 11:00 AM). The Holy Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy are studied and discussed in order to lay a strong foundation for the understanding of God and of Christ Jesus, as well as how to use and understand prayer and the practice of Christian Science. Younger Children are taught the Ten Commandments, the Lord’s Prayer and the Sermon on the Mount, along with other Bible stories, and an introduction in understanding prayer and how it can be used in their daily lives. Older children continue their study of the Bible and of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, learning how to utilize prayer in their lives as a way to feel and understand the ever presence of God, and to experience healing.
